Some of the reasons dust needs to be controlled are to reduce and prevent the possibility of dust explosions and fires. In addition, the reduction of accidents is greater with better visibility in the workplace. 

Dust explosion testing system also reduces wear and tear on equipment and minimizes the need for maintenance. For employees, less dust requires less protective equipment and reduces the likelihood of unpleasant odors that can negatively impact productivity.

There are three main types of dust control systems in use today that businesses can choose from. There are systems that work with ventilation systems in a building to remove or trap dust particles. There is also a wet dust suppression system near the ground that uses water to moisten the soil or other small particles that make it too heavy to enter the air. 

Dust in the air can also be blocked by the water system, where the spray can combine with the particles and let them fall to the ground. Most industrial dust control systems consist of four main parts. 

There is a trap in the dust source. This is usually an aspirator. A tube is attached to this vacuum cleaner which carries the dust to the dust collector. In the collector, dust is taken from the air. At the end of the duct operation, after the dust is removed from the air, there is a fan and a motor which is the power behind the airflow.
