Brendan Collins was born in Dublin, Ireland in 1965. Brendan grew up in a family of journalists. His father was an editor for the Sunday Tribune newspaper and his mother was a reporter for the Irish Times. Brendan started writing when he was very young.
He wrote short stories and poems for fun. As he got older, Brendan began to write about the issues that were important to him. Brendan’s first book, The Boy Who Knew Too Much: The Untold Story of John Paul VI, was published in 1998.
