Food safety is related to health and quality of life. Therefore, more and more attention is paid to the social responsibility of the food industry to ensure food safety. Factors and mechanisms influencing participation in food safety certification are important issues in this area.
Existing studies on factors affecting food safety massachusetts certification classes mainly focus on the impact of one or more factors. The qualitative comparison method of fuzzy sets was used to test the matching regime of various factors to encourage companies to obtain food safety certificates.

(1) State-Owned Enterprises tend to have food safety certificates.

(3) In state-owned enterprises with small business size, a higher level of food safety in the mission statement may result in the business being awarded a food safety certificate, and if the business size is large, greater media attention may encourage the business to obtain a food safety certificate.
(4) In non-government enterprises, if the food safety issue is highlighted in the mission and the media attention is relatively high, the company will be awarded a food safety certificate. This study offers a new perspective on food safety research and offers advice to governments and the public sector on how to control food safety issues in business.
Companies must invest significant human, material and financial resources to obtain food safety certificates. The behavior of food safety certification for relatively small businesses is determined by internal and external factors.
